Happy Thanksgiving
ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE

When you hear the saying "An Attitude of Gratitude" what thoughts pop into your mind? For me, it's like a stop watch, all time stops and I reflect back and claim moments that might have slipped away.

This is such an exciting time of the year, it's a time to look back over this past year. See all the good things that have happened to us, our lives and what we are grateful for, as well as the obstacles and challenges that help us grow and learn to receive all the wisdom they hold for us. We will start to feel hopeful, happy and excited. Even if the outside world right now might not look so good, I'm a great believer that when we look from within, we can have an enormous sense of gratitude for all the things in our lives and the energy starts to shift for us. There's a powerful question I often ask myself, and I'd love to share it with you. "IS THIS AN ACT OF FAITH OR FEAR?" from a book called "The Right Questions" by Debbie Ford. I choose faith over fear which is such a great question because it shifts our perception. And, it always changes the energy from ourselves and then to others.

This year, I believe that if all of us choose to come from the WE, and come together as ONE BEING, we will make a Big Difference in the world. President Elect Obama is coming from "We The People" and I'm so excited to support this platform. No matter what your political views have been, it's time people put aside the I and come from the We. That's my prayer for all of us, all over the world. This may sound a little Pollyanna, but I choose to open my Heart and pray for all of us. I'm committed to living in peace, forgiveness and love. Are you with me?

So what I'd love to suggest to you, if you feel inspired to shift your energy from Mediocre to Great. Buy a beautiful journal sit down and make a list of all the things your grateful for, do this everyday for the next 30 days. Then see if there's a difference in your attitude. Please email me and let me know if you have experienced a change.

Let's together make this year the Best Year of Our Life? I'm willing are you?

Spiritual Divorce, Author Debbie FordBased on Debbie Ford’s cutting edge work “Spiritual Divorce” this coaching method will help you use the crisis of your divorce or other broken relationships to improve your life. You will begin to see that the biggest loss of all is the loss of self. Through this process your experience becomes one of gain rather than loss. Instead of staying stuck in the pain of your broken heart, a spiritual divorce calls you to reconnect with the highest aspects of your being. Whether you’ve experienced a divorce, the end or loss of a relationship, or want to shift your relationship with some aspect of your life, you can use this pain as a catalyst to an extraordinary life.

What about other relationships in your life?

If you are unfilled in a relationship of any kind, whether it is with a friend, lover, family member or co-worker, and that relationship leaves you feeling tense, dissatisfied, bitter, angry or with low self esteem, then Spiritual Divorce Coaching is right for you now. Divorce is the ending of any relationship—not necessarily just the end of a marriage—and through this coaching you will awaken to a whole new perspective. And even if you’re in the process of considering separation, Spiritual Divorce Coaching will support you as you work through the pain toward making more conscious choices.

Therapy tends to focus on what happened in the past and coaching focuses on looking forward and planning for your future. Though sometimes done in groups, coaching is usually done over the phone, in the comfort of your own home, without you having to struggle with traffic. Therapy is most commonly done in person.

Most significantly, therapy can be an endless process, where coaching, by design, provides you with tools that empower you to heal yourself and create the life of your dreams. Rather than committing to many years of dialogues with your therapist, when you commit to a coaching process you will be taught to tune into your inner wisdom, learn skills you can practice every day, and be responsible for making the choices and taking the actions that are in alignment with your goals.

Years ago, I found the courage to begin to change my life, by committing to this wonderful journey of self-discovery. But my dramatic life changes didn’t occur until I found Debbie Ford’s revolutionary techniques through the The Ford Institute at JFK University. That courageous decision paved the way for me to explore myself, to heal my heart, and to live a fulfilled life as a Certified Master Integrative Coach, specializing in healing relationships using a cutting edge process called “Spiritual Divorce”. Today, I am a living testament to the effectiveness of this practice, having gone through it myself after many, many years of marriage.
